Defining the specifics

So after further elaboration we worked out the design specifics of the task and defined our audience and the main aspects, as if the company actually approached our group and asked for a redesign ; detailed below are more aspects that we considered.

USAGE:

The new identity will be used on all external corporate promotional
merchandising (printed material, business cards and presentations), and more importantly corporate communications such as a website.

GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATIONS:

Uncle Pete has several branches, these reside in Wollongong, Dubbo, Manly Vale, Castle Hill, Brookvale,
Shellharbour. Thus the companies audiences reside within these areas and thus promotional efforts will be focused on these locals; however with our redesign we hope to
integrate online shopping, meaning that we could further extend the reach of the company.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

Parents, children and any other
interested parties. Website will be focused on appealing primarily to parents but is universal and can be used accessed by any members of society, while the branding will target children specifically.

IDENTITY KEY TERMS THAT RELATE TO THE NATURE OF THE COMPANY:

Fun, colourful, free, exciting, trusted, family, iconic, heritage, experienced, unique, playful, timeless

COLOURS:

Bright primary colours (red, yellow, green, blue)- attract children and show fun nature of company

Now that we have this concreted we can proceed and create a work that is really amazing and will be something that we can be proud of when we are done.
